Drill Team
Any NJROTC cadet can become a member of the Drill team by simply attending drill practices. They are held everyday
at 3:20pm in the NJROTC room. Each member must attend at least a minimum of 3 practices a week. If there are any
times in which a cadet is unable to attend a practice that cadet should report to Assisitant Commander Tasha
Smith, with a proper verbal excuse.
We ask that you please encourage your fellow cadets to become a part of this elite team, it is truly a great
oppurtunity for everyone to experience.
we don't have enough people staying after school,to have a decent drill team, so it's YOUR job to get
yourself and others staying after school.
In the US military and other similar organizations like the JROTC, the Color guard carries the National
Color and other flags appropriate to its position in the chain of command. Typically these include a unit flag
and a departmental flag (Army, Navy, or Air Force). In addition to the flag bearers, who are positioned in the center of the
Color guard, there are 2 individuals who carry rifles. The left and right shoulder.
