As you may already know on the 26th of May 1982 Suitland
High School (SHS) was selected to host the NJROTC program. This program is Sponsored by the Navy, and was created to
install discipline in each cadet, to create a since of awareness of the country's emergency procedures, and to give
career oppurtunities for those interested in a career with the U.S. Military. With that being said I am sure you are
now aware that this program could and would not be possible without the assistance of our very own Naval Science Instructors.
